Thanks to our models Eric and Burt we had some very good Gladiator themed drawing. Also the gratious hosting of Chris and Photography of Alessandra should be mentioned.

Skip Work Early & Draw at the Botanical Garden

Let's take a planned skip out afternoon on work and draw at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. The saint Louis Botanical Gardens always have plenty to draw, and every month the colors and plantlife are changing.

Note: This is a monthly event, so keep it in mind for the last Wednesday of the month.

"The Gardens are always beautiful and offer much to inspire, even in rainy weather. Plus, the company is nice, nice to meet new people and meet-up on those I know." - Julie West

Brunch n' Sketch at Black Bear Bakery

Our group likes to get around and survey the local scene and all it's variety. Thanks to Judy Rubin for organizing several great events at the Black Bear Bakery.

Here's the details: (Sorry for the late post as this happened way back in May)

Black Bear Bakery:

"Relaxed anarchist atmosphere and funky surroundings, perfect for hungry artists to fill up their sketchbooks and their bellies at the same time. Excellent food and very inexpensive. Note: Black Bear Bakery accepts cash only."

"Food, music and art! Boaz explored the neighborhood and came back with some cool book and music purchases." - Judy Rubin
