Last Sundays Drawings

I want to begin to understand and be able to remember costumes and draapery.
It is like anatomy, there is some general costume and drapery anatomy to understand, and then the details of a memory can be worked out realistically.

It's a fun challenge. I'm going to try this in my figure drawing class and see how it works out...

• take a short look
• turn around
• draw
• return and compare memory to reality

I am meaning to do more watercolors. I suppose I need to do some marker sketches, and then come home and do some watercolors. The markers are so much easier to carry, and with some that have a brush-like tip, it isn't too far from watercolor.
